Clarence J. Oldrock, a devoted husband, respected EMT, and proud member of his community, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 73.
Born on July 19, 1951, to William "Bill" Oldrock and Louse Red Fox, Clarence was raised with strong values and a deep respect for helping others. He grew up in Heart Butte, Montana, where he attended Heart Butte High School and later pursued college education to further his knowledge and serve his community more fully.
Clarence dedicated 35 years of his life to serving others as an EMT and first responder - a calling he pursued with unwavering dedication. His calm presence and steady hands brought comfort to many during their most difficult moments. He was known not only for his skill, but for his compassion and the dignity he showed every person he helped.
On December 11, 2008, Clarence married the love of his life, Laurel Gray Oldrock, in Cut Bank, Montana. Together they shared a life full of love, mutual respect, and partnership, building their home between Browning, Heart Butte, and Cut Bank. His deep connection to the land and the people of these communities remained strong throughout his life.
Clarence will be remembered for his selflessness, his quiet strength, and his deep love for family and community. He was a man who led with heart - dependable, kind, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Laurel Gray Oldrock, and numerous friends and extended family who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude.
