Dolores Marie Salois, "Del", was born April 13th, 1936 to biological father Author Coley Walter and Alice Marie Seewald Walter in Cut Bank, Montana. She was raised by John James Walter and Alice on the Squaw Flat Walter Ranch.
Del attended and graduated from Browning High School. While working at Tood's Café she met Leo James Salois and they later married on May 28th, 1955 at Little Flower Parish in Browning. After which they made Blackfoot, MT home and were married for 34 years.
Dolores was known as a babysitter and also worked as a school cook. She enjoyed crocheting, making aprons, and creating patch quilts for everyone in the family. Camping, snowmobiling and picking berries were also among her favorite activities.
Her grandchildren were most important to her.
She is proceeded in death by her parents John and Alice Walter, husband Leo Salois, brothers; Cliff, James, Roger, Richard and Val Walter.
She is survived by daughters; Carol Henderson, Yvonne Nation, and Janet Salois, brother; Harvey Water, seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
