Frank "Smokey" Still Smoking Sr. was born June 7th,1934 to Sam Still Smoking Sr. and Mabel Vielle in Durham, Montana.
Frank met Theresa Wall at Willow Creek and married in 1950 at Little Flower Parish in Browning, MT. They were married for 27 years. He resided in Durham, Poplar and Browning, Montana throughout his life.
He greatly enjoyed art, both creating it and teaching art classes. Frank worked as an Art teacher, Forestry as a wild land fire fighter, picking potatoes, and did ranch work. He was a crew boss and during the flood of 1964 he was Search and Rescue. Frank was given the right to paint Teepees and made drums. He found joy in being a cowboy, gambling on a good night, and telling stories of his hunting adventures and firefighting days.
Frank is proceeded in death by his parents, wife Theresa, sons; Frank Dean Still Smoking, Glenn Still Smoking, brothers; Sam Still Smoking Jr., Albert Still Smoking, Everette Still Smoking Sr. and Herbert Still Smoking, sisters; Sarah Wells, Jillian June Wooden Legs, Sandy Ross.
He is survived by his sons; Alfred Still Smoking, Eli Still Smoking, and Gilbert Still Smoking, Daughters; Debbie Comes at Night, Margret Still Smoking, Rebecca Dwarf, and Ella Wall, sister; Dorothy Still Smoking, brothers; Alvin Still Smoking, Thomas Still Smoking, and Melvin Still Smoking. Along with 100 grand and great-grandchildren.
